ABOUT

I was born in Denmark, litterally in an Art Gallery - My father was a professional artist running a Gallery and workshop in the basement of our family home. Growing up with art and artists all around stimulated my creativity and since early childhood my favorite occupation was drawing.

I did no schooling in Art. My inborn talent has been trained by my own sense of observation and my desire to make portraits and surrealistic motives. Instead I studied In the School of Conservation at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. My profession as a painting conservator has lead my to Norway where I now hold a position at the Norwegian Folk Museum.

I kept my passion for drawing alive resulting in a row of illustrations, portraits, caricatures and satirical cartoons.
